Born in 1989 in Vienna [Austria]

Alexander Yannilos fell in love with drumming and the idea of a life in music early on, after getting a first glimpse at it during a three-year engagement as a boy singer at the Viennese State Opera beginning in 1999.

 

He has constantly been involved in a wide range of projects ever since, exploring all forms of Jazz, Improvised and Contemporary Music, as well as modern Pop, Experimental Club Music, Live Electronics and music for Theater and Film.
